To beat competition and be the leader in the Smartphone industry, LG is now producing sophisticated Smartphones that will silence all the competitors. The LG G4 and LG G Flex are two of such Smartphones recently launched by LG.
LG G4 Smartphone
LG G4 is one of the new LG Smartphones and the best you can laid your hands on this very year. LG is referring to the G4 as the most ambitious Smartphone, that promises to deliver a human-centric, a great visual and comfortable experience. It has come to take on the iPhone 6, HTC One M9, Samsung Galaxy S6 and other phones. LG claimed that things are getting better with the LG G4, even as they stood by their statement that their LG G3 was the very best for the year 2014, although there was divided opinion on the leather case.
The key specifications of LG G4 consist of a 3000mAh removable battery, 32GB of storage (with microSD support), a 5.5in Quad HD IPS Quantum display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 processor. This Smartphone that has being on the market since May 28 was unveiled on 28 April at a press conference.
Design and build of LG G4 Smartphone
LG has gone for genuine leather instead which is unusual as a main option, despite rumors of a metal build. The leather is nice with stitching which makes it preferable to faux leather as discovered on some Samsung devices. However, colors like sky blue and yellow aren’t great on LG G4 Smartphones. The leather is vegetable tanned, but LG declared that the color will change over time.
Nevertheless, there is a ceramic option that has a smooth diamond texture and comes in three colors of Shiny Gold, Ceramic White and Metallic Gray for you, if the idea of leather will put you off the LG G4 straight away. This Smartphone looks pretty like the G3 apart from the switch to ceramic and leather. But it is a shame that the firm has not managed to slim it down like the HTC One M9. LG G4 is thicker at 9.8mm and heavier at 155g, which is not ideal.
The fact that the frame is still plastic is another shame, this time with a slightly chromed effect. It feels affordable compared to rival flagships and we are not fanatical on the headphone ports and the sharp edges around the microUSB. LG G4 is comfortable to hold and supposedly makes it 20 percent more durable than a flat Smartphone in face-down drops as a result of the Slim Arc curved shape it comes with. This slight curve doesn’t just apply to the back of the phone but to the entire phone, making it a little like the LG Flex 2.
